New GM and Head Chef
The Point Hotel is pleased to welcome new General Manager, Elizabeth Taylor who prides
herself on professional, friendly and attentive
service. Liz has in the short space of 6 months
already stamped her own brand of hospitality
onto The Point Hotel and judging by the positive
feedback we are getting from our guests and tour
operators her feminine touch is working a treat.
The Lighthouse Restaurant at The Point Hotel also
welcomes new Head Chef, Norman Human.
Norman who was previously based in Cape Town
has an extensive CV of accomplishments including
having had the privilege to cook for Nelson
Mandela, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump to name a
few. He continues our programme of
improvements and will launch his Summer Menu
this season. Fresh seafood and produce play key
roles in this new menu as well as innovative
sauces and desserts.
The Lighthouse Restaurant is situated on the
spectacular Point in Mossel Bay and its stunning
views over the sea and rocks gives it one of the
most dramatic settings in the Garden Route.
Our diverse A La Carte menu is available in the
restaurant and from room service, from 10h00 am
until 23h00pm. Our delicious Buffet Breakfasts
are served from 07h00 to 10h00 weekdays and
07h00 – 11h00 on weekends.
