Mediterranean Evening at Great Success

The Lighthouse Restaurant at The Point Hotel recently held a very successful Mediterranean buffet dinner and Wine Pairing and based on the positive response we received from the Mossel Bay community who attended, will be repeated on a monthly basis. Belinda De Kock of Deetlefs Wine Estate offered the Wine pairing and was a major hit with many guests being introduced to Deetlefs wines for the first time.

Diners were treated to a buffet which included delicious dishes such as Tuscan stuffed loin of pork, Moussaka, Mussel Pot with Saffron and fresh tomato sauce and Italian Panna Cotta, Pears poached in port and an Almond chocolate mousse.

On 27th October we invite you to join us for a whisky tasting evening in collaboration with Glenfiddich, one of the most awarded single malt Scotch whiskies in the world. Our Executive Chef is creating a tasting menu to pair with Glenfiddich's 12, 15 and 18 year old malt whisky and the evening promises to be a whisky connoisseur's delight.
